Trains have been an interest of mine as long as I can remember, more so in the last ten years using them as subject matter for watercolor works of art.  A somewhat self taught artist, I also over the years have attended local community colleges taking several art and design classes. Yet I feel that my regular one on one instruction from Aurora artist Joyce Ruland has given me an understanding of watercolor which I could not have achieved elsewhere. I feel watercolor is a tricky yet forgiving medium which enables me to produce vignettes of an era long past.

My work has been shown at local art shows and venues receiving several awards. I am a charter member of the American Society of Railroad Artists as well as a member of the NWS.

For the last twenty seven years I have been a member of the Aurora Fire Department and have designed lettering and artwork for their vehicles as well as our 150th anniversary logo in 2006.

Thank you for your time in viewing my website and I look forward to hearing from you.
